I walked along a feared river

Strangely, the river grasped me

It ordered me to fight

I was inclined to be set free

Freed of my fearful shell

Void of obligated morale

Refusing to drown a cowardly me

River delivered me to the Ocean

Ocean beached me onto Land

Land tortured me with the elements

The world would not comply and kill me

Dying would not be a pretty, wrapped gift

Finally, a cornered me fought back

Life and her blessed struggles

Would force me to really live
