I murdered a soul-killer

Without touching him at all

I uttered the simple truth

He asked me to please stop

I shouted how he severed

All that was pure, clean and young

I forced him to hear all the sorrow

Inflicted on mind, spirit and flesh

His flooding tears moved me not at all

I told soul-killer how to end his reign

He willed himself to an early grave

That’s where he should have begun
